All - Here's a subject I haven't heard much about. Noticed about a three inch section of cord beginning to show on my rear tire today. Cycle tires aren't as precise as car tires apparently because the other side had tread still visible. Anyway, tore into it over lunch - wish I hadn't. Found out later the tire I bought several weeks ago that was priced with mount and balance also meant removal/installation. Oh well, the experience was, let's just say educational. Made up some new words during the ordeal. How would the experts out there in Savage land have attacked this project? Took me 2 hours just to remove the wheel during a trial and error process. Can't wait till the new tire is mounted and balanced to put it back on! I may get to use some of my new words!
